A 'Park Flyer Aircraft' is any slow flying, light weight radio controlled fixed wing aircraft, powered by a low noise, small electric motor.
A set pattern of manoeuvres has been incorporated in the 'Park Flyers Certificate' to allow the pilot to demonstrate his/her skills in flying this category of model aircraft.
Most hobby shops can show you several 'Park Flyer Aircraft' with wingspans from 500 millimetres to 1400 millimetres. These aircraft are constructed of light weight material such as styrofoam and/or balsa wood.
These low cost aircraft (which include a small electric motor) are ready for flying. All that is required is the battery and a radio controlled set. Some aircraft can be purchased as a complete system.
