The work on the East-West Runway is now complete. All that is needed is for mother nature to take over and allow the grass to grow. By September/October our 125 metres long by 12 metres wide level runway should be fully grassed and ready for Fly-ins and the jet aircraft.

Shade Protection Stands and Pilot Safety Fencing
The construction of the shade protection stands and the pilot safety fencing is well underway and should be at the airfield within the next month. The costs involved have been covered by a grant received from the MAAQ (Model Aeronautical Association of Queensland).
